Richard was born to Muggle Psychiatrists who thought they were going crazy when he first showed signs of accidental magic. They had never, however, considered the thought of giving him away, and was rather surprised (but accepting) of his acceptance to Hogwarts when he was eleven. He has three younger siblings, one boy and two girls, and loves all of them. He became an auror to help preserve the smiles on their faces.
