It is late in the summer, and as the students prepare for the new school year at Hogwarts everything seems well. Maybe a little too well....

First things first...

-Decide on whether you want your character to be a student or an adult
-Claim your celebrity (+here)

Students...
-Pick your year (1st-7th)
-Post your profile (+here) ~ PLEASE NOTE: If you do not have a profile, you can not enter Hogwarts.
-Start posting, and buying your stuff from Diagon Alley

Adults...
-Post your profile (+here)
-Apply for a job! Be a ministry worker (+here) or become a healer at St. Mungos (+here)
-Become a Death Eater or join the Order of the Phoenix
-Start posting in your job, and home lives

Earning Money
-Get a job (see above)
-Post! Post! Post!
-Go to the Earn extra galleons section (+here) to see other ways
-If you are a new student, you may withdrawal 50 Galleons from Gringotts as soon as you wish. If you do not use these 50 galleons they will be locked into collections until your graduation date.
-If you are a returning student you will most likely have plenty of gold that no extra money will be added to your account.
-At the end of each year, your total galleons will be counted and collected, leaving the student with 50 galleons for the summer.
-If your house wins the house cup, you will be allowed 80 galleons for the summer instead of 50.
-If you go into the negatives by the time school starts, you will not be allowed to enter the school until you have posted enough that your galleons are above 0.

House Points & The House Cup
- Points will be awarded in every class for a wide range of good deeds.
- At the end of the year, whoever has the most point’s wins.
- Your galleons attribute to this; we total everyone’s galleons, and add points by every 100 galleons per house. We do this to remind students that posting a lot WILL help out your house, even if you do not do well in class.
~Example: Ravenclaw house has 7262 galleons combined? They get 72 additional House Points.
- Whomever wins the house cup will have the site dedicated to them for the summer months of the In-Game year.

Classes
- We will be sending out another mass owl in the coming weeks titled 'Class Signups'. Every individual student character needs to reply unless the rule below deems it unnecessary.
- If you have more than 3 student characters, only 3 are required to attend classes, however, the more you have the more chances you’ll get to receive house points.
- Students need to post regularly in classes and do homework and such before due dates. It’s not supposed to be hard, the homework on our site is supposed to be creative and fun. You should ALWAYS be allowed to talk to teachers and students and get responses. This is a roleplay.

Sorting
- There is no longer a sorting quiz, you will learn what house you are in on the first day at school, we will be judging from how you post and your profile.
